** Mindful Brian for Teachers **
As a Teacher, you have complete freedom of the course outline that is displayed on the home screen of Mindful Brian. A great place to list your sessions and share your announcements.
You decide what to show and when to show it: all the data is stored in a Cloud database and can be changed at any time so that you can make updates available to participants at any time.
Also, Mindful Brian has a section for your recordings, making it an excellent way for your participants to have their practices at hand where ever they are.
Here again, you decide what to make available and when so that it aligns with your in-person sessions.
** Mindful Brian for Mindfulness course Participants **
Alongside your Mindfulness Teacher, Mindful Brian is your companion on your journey into Mindfulness! See the latest info of your course, Message the group to share experiences and puzzling moments.
Your data privacy is essential: your first name and the messages that you post will be visible by your teacher and the other participants in your group.
Responses to questionnaires and app usage will be anonymised before being shared with the researcher.
Your email address is only used to login into the app and to reset your password. It will not be shared with anymore.
** Mindful Brian for Researchers **
Mindful Brian contains questionnaires for a research study and participants will be prompted to fill them out in line with the course schedule.
In addition, app usage is gathered automatically (e.g. time spent in each part of the apps, number of messages sent, etc.)
Data is anonymised to preserve privacy: when a participant registers on Mindful Brian, a unique ID is generated and all data is recorded against that ID.
Data is collected on the smartphone and is automatically sent to the Cloud database, where it can be downloaded by the researcher for analysis purposes.
